Mindfulness
Mindfulness is interwoven throughout all of these modalities and is the process of becoming more aware of deeply ingrained negative patterns of thoughts, feelings and actions.  Mindfulness allows you to be more present and to observe yourself from a place of compassion and curiosity.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy/Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (CBT/REBT)

Change your thoughts, change your world.  CBT and REBT are proven psychotherapeutic modalities to help shift thinking, behavior and core beliefs that may be undermining your life.

 

Mind Body Therapy

When we experience challenging emotions, our breathing becomes restricted and we tend to become tight and tense. These emotions become locked in the body. Mind Body therapy is about helping clients to feel their emotions in the body, so that they can be released; for what we feel, we can then heal. After guiding clients into a relaxed, meditative state, I use dialoging techniques to help them access and process deeply held, unconscious memories, images and emotions. Once experienced, self-limiting thoughts, beliefs and feelings may be released. New, positive thoughts, feelings and images, which serve us better can then be integrated.  

 

Chakra Psychology

The Chakra System originated in India thousands of years ago.  Chakra Psychology melds that ancient knowledge of the body’s energy centers, with modern psychology, to correct imbalances and clear blockages in your body, enhancing emotional, spiritual and physical well-being.

 

Spiritually Oriented Psychology

What is Spirit’s message in your life?  Spiritually Oriented Psychology is all about connecting to your true Self, listening within and manifesting your life’s dreams.  When we’re able to feel the pull of Spirit and act on it’s messages, life flows more smoothly and our thoughts, feelings and actions are in sync. Concepts of forgiveness, compassion, love and surrender are explored.

 

LifeForce Yoga for Anxiety & Depression

Yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation, done mindfully, allow clients to center themselves in their bodies and the present moment. Specific breathing techniques, meditation methods and postures are tailored to each individual in order to help alleviate  symptoms of anxiety and/or depression. 


Reiki

Reiki is about releasing energetic blockages in the body so that emotions and life force can once again flow freely. Reiki promotes healing, stress reduction and physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. 

 

Stress Management
I offer a wide array of practices and modalities including yoga, meditation, breath awareness, progressive relaxation, imagery and reframing of thoughts to alleviate stress.

Non-Violent Communication (NVC)

NVC helps you to speak your truth and foster more conscious and intimate relationships. It focuses on assertive communication, helping you enhance your ability to state feelings, needs and wants in a non-judgmental, yet effective, manner.
